At Maxion Design, we value the importance of teamwork to help successfully nurture the client’s vision. To ensure that our clients are receiving expert level care each step of the way, we partner with our vast network of architects, manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to manage, organize, and streamline the design process.

Cynthia Maxion has been a teacher, speaker, world traveler and artist. Cindy began her business by gathering a team of talented individuals to paint murals for the legendary Howard Hughes at his terminal in Las Vegas. Together their artwork has graced over 2,000 walls across the United States, with projects including murals for Hasbro Toys on 5th Ave., NYC and others for the first Banana Republic in SF, CA. She has a passion for creating spaces that exceed her clients expectations and excel their businesses.

Maxion Design evolved into a full-service international interior design firm, composed of a multidisciplinary team with backgrounds in architecture, interior design, graphic design, and fine art. The work of Maxion Design has been featured in a wide array of films and magazines celebrating their signature approach.  “When designed with care, I believe environments can elevate the human condition.” Maxion

“I have known Cindy Maxion for well over forty well over 40 years and watched her grow and progress in the Athletic Club Industry. She is by far one of the most knowledgeable and connected interior designers I have ever met. Her talents have brought her International acclaim. But the best thing about Cindy is her compassion for her trade that she brings to each project.”Rick Whittington, President of RWW Management

“I was so pleased with the design services Maxion provided for the club, I retained their services for the interior design of my Las Vegas home.”
– John Michael, Prime Time Athletic Club

“We felt that a project as significant as the historical Cincinnati Union Terminal required an extraordinary gesture, one that will inform
generations to come of our great faith in and respect for its architectural splendor. In the design of Cynthia Maxion we have found just what we wanted.”  Steve Skilken, Cincinnati Union Terminal Building

“We asked Maxion Design to create an atmosphere reflective of the Anasazi culture which inhabited southern Utah. Their focal art wall of ancient
petroglyphs completed this assignment in a spectacular fashion.”  Rick Prince, Entrada Sports & Fitness Center

“We purchased a 5,500 home which we wanted to renovate and add another 4,600 sq. ft. We gave Cindy Maxion our ideas and her team produced concepts that were nothing short of spectacular both aesthetically and functionally. We felt very fortunate to have hired Maxion Design and will use them again.”Douglas Lathrem, Lathrem Residence

“After Maxion Design completed the interior design of our athletic club in 1992 and our swim center in 2000, we knew we wanted them to guide us
through the renovation of our 60 year-old beach home. Her ideas and drawings led the way to remodel a kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace and open the living room.  They helped us select lighting, wall and floor finishes, new furniture, artwork, and accessories. They were sensitive to our ideas and needs, always professional and a pleasure to work with.”  – Linda and Jim Theiring, Theiring Residence Carmel Valley, CA
