7) Construction
8) Completion
1) Understand Project
Projects begin with understanding the city regulations, parameters of the property, and the client’s goals. Researching and getting client feedback on inspiration images help bring ideas into focus.

2) Preliminary Design
Initial floor plans start a project to show sizes, relationships, activities, and location of areas. Feature areas are determined and CAD drawings are produced.

3) Design Development
Preliminary finish selections are presented. Elevations, sections, and perspectives are produced to develop the design until it meets the clients criteria. Finishes are refined and products are suggested.

4) Final Design
All design concepts and construction details are finalized, and the budget is reviewed. Rendered perspective drawings and animations are available upon request.

5) Documentation
Electronic files are compiled into a construction set. Specifications are written for all products and finishes and coded to the drawings.

6) PURCHASING
Budget analysis and procurement are available upon the clients’ request. All finish selections and products like lighting, fabrics, and furniture may be purchased by Maxion Design.

7) CONSTRUCTION
Maxion fabricates and installs the art they design. Creative millwork is often constructed off-site and brought in for installation. Additional consultation and construction-phase services are available.

8) COMPLETION
A final inspection punch list is offered at the end of the project. Furniture is installed, art and accessories are added, and the client is ready to move in! It’s time for finished photos and to celebrate!
